For over 50 years at arc Thrift Stores have been a part of Colorado. The first store opened in 1968 and now has expanded to multiple retail locations throughout the state. Their mission is to enhance the lives of individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD). arc Thrift is one of the states largest employers of people with IDD. Store programs touch the lives of thousands of people every year. The proceeds generated through the sale of gently used clothing and household items are distributed to local Arc chapters, such as us, The Arc Mesa County.
